Book is in fair condition in gray boards with cloth binding, color illustration by Campbell on front with black letttering...all edges scuffed and chipped...soiled--front back and spine...one 1/4" chip lost from front cover illustration--otherwise intact color image of Bear boarding a lighter-than-air airship tethered to ground...front hinge is broken with text binding exposed with back hinge broken but able to secure all together...colorful frontispiece is secure and in good condition with only one 1/2" closed tear at left edge and light bumping at bottom edge...text is complete with expected darkening, but very legible with well-defined black and white illustrations on each page and relatively free of soil, though a few spots can be found...text pages are sewn in with stitches exposed and broken at page 9 but all pages are in place and lightly secured except page 15-16 which is separated but in place. This is a scarce find.
