Scarce Henry S. Stebbins publication...BEAUTIFULLY ILLUSTRATED WITH OVER 300 ENGRAVINGS. Spine is wrinkled as if having been glued, hinges have been glued or repaired carelessly. Front hinge at free endpapers is pulling away at top. Cover is red with black lettering and gilt pictorial of officer on horse. Front red has faded back has 1/2" 'ding', all corners are bumped and worn. Inside pages and text are VERY GOOD AND UNMARKED. No previous owners names or plates.
