Book is very good in rich brown leather binding with decorative gilt borders front and repeat borders top and bottom of spine and gilt spine lettering...text is secure to binding throughout and clean...text edges thumb indexed in eighteen sections with gilt edging all round...976 pages, replete with text and photographs and drawings in black and white and color...leather coverings all in place with some edge separation at top front edge not visible from front view...light abrasions to spine edges...Note: title on spine reads "Encyclopedia of Home Decorating" while title page only states "Encyclpedia of Decorating"....an extraordinary find in this very handsome vintage leatherbound volume.
